IDC is wrong on Verizon iPhone…

Verizon will get an iPhone when they have LTE.  It will take time to implement because the evolution is not an overlay.  Once that happens, in a couple years (or sooner), there will be an Apple product on Verizon….

Verizon-iPhone deal less likely after Google move, IDC says

Tech Rumor of the Day: Research In Motion

It looks like Verizon (VZ Quote) has a rip-snorting success on its hands with the debut of its BlackBerry Tour from Research In Motion (RIMM Quote).

In the first 24 hours, Verizon and retail outlets sold between 275,000 and 300,000 Tours, according to analysts.
